Booking fee
The booking fee includes the costs of booking your tickets such as charges for payment processing. It also covers the provision of our customer care center for processing your order, and all charges imposed by our suppliers.

Incase the weather does not permit for the tour to take place, you can reschedule for another day. Should you need a pick up/drop off, there will be an extra cost of R250.00.

Please provide us with a pick up address. Departure from your location within 10km (6 miles) of the Cape Town CBD. Please note that additional charges may apply should your accommodation fall outside of this radius.
Robben Island Museum, Cape Town Central, South Africa You will be picked up from the address you provided(within our pickup radius). Boarding the ferry closes 10 min before the time slot you chose. The ferries depart from the Nelson Mandela Gateway to Robben Island in the V&A Waterfront.
You will disembark on the island and take a short walk to buses that will transport you and a group of people to all the historical sites around the Island. On the way to the buses, you will pass buildings and a high wall built by prisoners during the 1960s.
The prison tour will be conducted by a Robben Island Tour Guide. They are fully conversant and knowledgeable about the Island’s multi-layered 500-year-old history. The tour route includes the graveyard of people who died from leprosy, the Lime Quarry, Robert Sobukwe’s house, the Bluestone quarry, the army and navy bunkers and the Maximum Security Prison where thousands of South Africa’s freedom fighters were incarcerated for years. The tour culminates with a viewing of Nelson Mandela’s cell. 240 minutes

This experience is non-refundable and cannot be changed for any reason. If you cancel or ask for an amendment, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

Wonderful way to learn about South African history and the long journey to freedom. Beautiful Cape Town views. Grateful to recieve part if the tour with a former inmate. He was a kind gentlemen.
